Install Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread On Samsung Ace S5830

in Europe. For those of you who are unable to perform the update 
automatically via Samsung Kies, here is
 manual method to do the same. This method requires you to
 download the Android Gingerbread 2.3.3 ROM
 and then flash it on your device.
Disclaimer: Flashing may brick your phone if not done right. Proceed 
at your own risk. We are not responsible for any damage caused to your device.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. First download Gingerbread 2.3.3 ROM for Samsung Galaxy 
   Ace from here and unzip the file.
2. Download ODIN flashing tool. [Link]
3. Put your device into ‘Download Mode’.
   Press VOLUME DOWN + POWER + HOME buttons 
   simultaneously for a few seconds and then release them.
4. Now connect Galaxy Ace to your Computer via the USB cable 
    and run ODIN flashing tool you earlier downloaded in Step 2.
5. You should see a COM port mapping box turning yellow in the 
    ODIN flashing tool. This indicates that the USB connection is successful.
6. Click ‘Select OPS’. Browse and select the OPS image from 
the unzipped ROM file.

7. Repeat the above step for other images in the ROM – Boot, 
    Phone, PDA, CSC, and EPS.
8. Now click ‘Start’ to let ODIN being the flashing process.
9. A ‘Pass’ message should appear in ODIN once the flashing 
is done successfully.
That’s it. Your Samsung Galaxy Ace will reboot automatically at the end 
of the flashing and it will be updated to Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread!
