Are you curious about the inner structure of Nokia C6 mobile phone? Now today we got a chance to dismantle and see it together!
1. Nokia C6–Rear Cover Disassembly
Let’s dismantle from the rear with only a multi-purpose screwdriver. The most important thing is to remember the disassembly procedures, types of the screws and keep the screws.
Open the rear cover and you will see many big hex head screws.
Pay attention to differentiate various kinds of screws.
After unscrew the big screws, you have to open the rear cover and screen part carefully, because there are flex cables between them.
Look, Nokia C6 also can do a “Back flip” now. The green circuit panel can’t be seen when you use Nokia C6 in daily life because it hides under the sliding keyboard.
The Nokia C6 phone is quite durable, because the components and screws are made of wear-resisting metal. All the metal components are thick enough, so the Nokia C6 is heavy.
2. Nokia C6–Keyboard Disassembly
We can see the other side of the keyboard, including the keys and white conductive layer.
The keyboard is a whole part and very flexible.
2. Nokia C6–Deep Disassembly of the Rear Cover
Open the shell of rear cover carefully.
The detachable rear cover and a green circuit panel
As the core of the Nokia C6 mobile phone, the green circuit panel includes CPU, internal storage and Flash and so on.
The sheet iron is for preventing the radiation from the chip. Let’s see the components in detail.
5MP camera becomes the highlight of this mainboard.
MicroUSB connection and vibration module
Nokia C6 mobile phone is more stable, because the vibration module is firmly welded to the mainboard.
TF card slot and shield plate
Next, let’s see the component in rear cover, including loudspeaker, antenna, 3.5mm headset jack and LED light.
Battery Connector
There is a charge coupler and a microphone.
They usually work by spring piece. So frequent dropping and loose screws will cause bad wire connection. Considering this factor, the housing of Nokia C6 is stable enough.
So far, we have dismantled the four main parts of the Nokia C6. Of course, we can further dismantle the component in the rear cover, but there is no sense. The mainboard on the left of the picture below still links to the screen part. Let’s begin to dismantle the mainboard.
4. Nokia C6–Cable Disassembly
The flex cables are wide and flat in the middle of the body.
After unclench the snap-fit of the flex cable, you can easily dismantle the cable from the mainboard.
Cable Connection
Metal substrate
The slide of keyboard depends on the “M” spring.
Unfortunately we can’t further dismantle the inner component, because the tool can’t unscrew the last screw in the rear of screen. After unscrew the screws, we will see the structures of the screen, the front-camera, receiver and buttons. Although we haven’t witness the structure of them, we have dismantled the main part of Nokia C6 mobile phone.
Nokia C6 Disassembly–Summary:
In recent years the software of mobile phone is changing, but the hardware doesn’t change a lot.
Although the manufacturing cost of mobile phone is going down, the quality of Nokia C6 maintains the original standard.
