How to upgrade samsung galaxy s i9000 to Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread XWJVH ROM

Time to rejoice again for the Samsung Galaxy S I9000 customers. There is yet another leak of officialAndroid 2.3.3 ROM for the Galaxy S I9000 model. Like the previous one (XXJVK), this one too is an European version and the best Gingerbread ROM for the Galaxy S till date.
Following are details of the leaked version.

PREREQUISITES

1. Download Android 2.3.3 XWJVH ROM and extract the contents using password samfirmware.com. [Credits to samfirmware.com for uploading the leaked ROM]
2. Download PIT.
3. Download ODIN tool.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Power off the Galaxy S and reboot into the ‘Download Mode’. To dot it, press and hold ‘Volume Down’ button, ‘Power’ button, and ‘Home’ button simultaneously till you see an android character sweeping with a message ‘DON’T TURN OFF THE TARGET!!!’.
2. Run the ODIN tool.
3. Connect the phone to computer via USB Cable.
4. One of the box in ODIN will turn yellow color.
5. Click ‘PDA’ button in ODIN, browse and select the ‘JVH_JV3_JPO.tar’ file that you earlier downloaded.
6. Click ‘PIT’ button, browse and select the PIT file that you downloaded.
7. Make sure ONLY  ‘Auto Reboot’ and ‘F.Reset Time’ checked in options.

8. Click ‘Start’ button and wait for the process to complete.
9. After the process is complete, you will se ‘PASS’ message in ODIN and the Galaxy S will automatically reboot into the new XWJVH Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread.

    you can download firmware from www.samfirmware.com
