How To Set Mp3 as Message or Notification Tone on Samsung Galaxy Mini |
As we know that default system of Samsung Galaxy mini does't support Mp3 or other format to set as message or notification tone.
But now i'll share a trick how to set Mp3 or other format as message or notification tone on Samsung Galaxy Mini.., Follow steps below :
- Go to Application menu then point to My Files
- Go to sd card folder –> media –> audio –> notifications
- Create new folder, name it to ringtones
- From My Files Menu on your sd card, choose your mp3, wav, amr files which you want to use as message tone
- After you find your files copy those files to sd card folder –> media –> audio –> notifications -> ringtones
- After robooting your smartphone, go to setting –> sound –> Phone ringtone
- and.. viola…. you have your mp3 ringtone there now
Using Android Applications
- Download Rings Extended
- Extract and copy to SD Card directory
- Open apk file and install
- Open sound setting and use rings extended.
- Enjoy...,
Thanks - I've been trying for hours to find this solution!

ReplyDeleteThat helpful methodology works a treat, thanks so much. Like Schultzie, I too had wasted hours trying to find a way of including my own semi-continuous sounds / ringtones / music etc into Galaxy Mini's array of 'sounds' for incoming messages. I confess I can't understand why Samsung don't include that methodology into their (generally useful) on-line user guidebook for that android phone.
Theres no media in my sd card folder.
ReplyDeletehi. I have this problem also. I can't find 'media' folder in my sd card. Help? :)
